TABLETOPSTUCK: A BRIEF OVERVIEW
A collection of short summaries of each character. More detailed overviews can be found on the individual accounts.

A vetern DnD player and an army kid of Brazillian ancestry, currently attending college and majoring in studies of Ancient Civilizations. Her older brother joined the army and went to war when she was younger, and she herself joined the Peace Corps with her cousin after the end of the Ancestor campaign in between her college years. She was sent back from the country she was volunteering at early, though she didn't tell anybody why.
She' s been friends with the Stahler family (and thus also good friends with Briar) practically since Raiden was born, and would often hang out with Richard and babysit Raiden since she was more responsible than Dick ever was. She's fluent in Portuguese and has a tangential knowledge of Spanish, enough that she and Teresa would talk in Spanish a lot when they were better friends. Suffering a bit of a social disconnect from her friends after returning from the Peace Corps. She has a pet frog named Slick that she gave to Kanaya to babysit while she was gone, which inspired the infamous Bilious Slick. Moved back to Detroit after leaving the Peace Corps around the time that Aradia comes back to life, and was basically forced to play with them over the internet for the scarce bits Aradia was active before she came back.
Kind of a sort of mentor figure for Tammy, and used to play a lot of stuff with Victor and Teresa which inspired the concept of Team Charge.
Tammy ???mylususisacow
One of the younger members of the DnD group, and Karl's younger cousin. Her father left her mother when she was very little, so she looked up to Crabdad as a father figure as well and used to be very close to Karl and his mother. She used to work at the family's seafood shack before it closed, and their family did their best to help support Karl and his mom while his dad was in the hospital.
She live in the freshman dorms and does a lot of online roleplaying, and not only employed Kanaya's help in making costumes for her and Nina for conventions, but has accosted Karl multiple times in the past to escort them. She's done a lot of roleplaying stuff with Teresa, Victor and Anna, and looks up to Anna as a sort of mentor figure. She also likes to play World of Darkness with Nina, Teresa, Echidna and a few others. She's best friends with Gary, who she met through Karl and was Karl's close childhood friend. She feels a bit worried that they're not as close because Tammy became friends with them (though this really has nothing to do with her and everything to do with Karl being a reclusive fuckwad), and also may have more feelings for him than she lets on, though she's unsure and is perfectly content with just being friends.
Recently has had to deal with Victor's awkward advances and him hitting on her a lot, even though she has stated to have no interest in him multiple times.
Sam ???doubledoomiing
A pre-med student who spends 60% of his time studying and 40% of his time being harassed to stop studying. His parents are reasonably supportive of his endeavors, and help him pay the rent for the most part since he spends so much time studying. He's roommates with Teresa, giving him the ability to block out almost any kind of distraction. He met Echidna in a neuroscience class, to whom he let out all of his bitching about his ridiculous DnD group.
He's some kind of weird friends with Karl, who loafs around their apartment distracting both of them on his days off, and together they've given Teresa tons of inspiration for her campaign monsters. Amazingly, despite being one of the few that's actually dedicated to their studies, he's also somehow got a girlfriend in Felicity, whom he started going out with after the Ancestor campaign while he remains blissfully unaware that she's a Bluh Bluh Huge Bitch.

A 20something college dropout that works at a stereotypical hipster coffee shop called Cervibic. His family was once the owner of a local seafood shack where the Troll players used to hang out, run by his dad (also the head chef, and affectionately deemed "Crabdad" for their notable crab dishes) and employing Karl and his cousin Tammy for most of their lives. A year into Karl's college career, his dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which gradually got worse and forced Karl to take up an extra part-time job, while also working at the shack and attending class.
At the tail-end of the Ancestor campaign, they were forced to close the restaurant due to his dad's worsening condition, and Karl dropped out of college to take up the job at the coffee shop as a full-time job to help pay the bills. His dad eventually succumbed to the cancer, and not long after Karl moved into an apartment of his own in order to try and relieve his mother's financial burden and take his school bills on himself. He's a horrendous insomniac and often averages less than five hours of sleep a day, though he refuses to get treated for it as it'd be too expensive and he can use his extra waking hours to be productive instead. Though the family's restaurant his still closed, he still owns the deed to the building it used to occupy.
He has no car so his best friend Eric is forced to drive him anywhere (even though they used to hate each other during their original campaign), or he'll walk or take a bike. He ends up spending a lot of time at Teresa and Sam's apartment where they often booze and play video games, but refuses to move in with them because of his own dignity and his refusal to be a burden on anyone. Became estranged from his cousin Tammy after his dad's death due to his horrendous coping issues, and used to have a friendly rivalry with Felicity before she became a total bitch. Had a catastrophically horrendous roll when they began the Ancestor campaign, forcing Dick to make up a goddamn blood color for him off the hemospectrum entirely.
Nina ???impawssiblycute
One of the younger members, more around Tammy's age, and Ed's younger sister. She's an avid online roleplayer as well as LARPer, and a surprisingly impressive cosplayer, with Kanaya's help. She's probably undeclared, but wants to go into veterinary science or something. She plays a lot of World of Darkness with Teresa and Echidna.

An avid thespian and a complete theater productive junkie, she worked behind the scenes at her High School's plays all four years and was Head Costume Designertowards the end of school. She's not currently attending school and works at a flower shop to save up money for Design school, but hopes to one day move out of New York and become a costume designer for much bigger productions.
She's been friends with Briar for even longer than Briar's known Dick, and was fenagled a lot of her own rules for the Homestuck campaign. She has the hardest time of all the players separating IC and OOC intentions, mostly because she really just wants everyone to get along (a big thing to ask out of a group like this), to the point that though she put a lot of effort into creating the Dolorosa, when she was killed off in a really half-assed way she basically rage quit and made Kanaya Maryam a bit more of a self-insert. She was dating Victor during the Ancestor campaign, but the two went through a bit of a rift in their friendship when Kanaya realized that she was a lesbian-- a fact she has told very few people given her largely catholic family.
True to her character's meddlesome nature, she ends up mothering a lot of the players because most of them are absolutely atrocious at taking care of themselves. She's done a lot of patchwork for Gary and Karl, and is basically the one that has made anyone's cosplays ever.
Teresa ???scalemates4lyfe
An Irish-Mexican law student with average grades, an apartment in a shitty neighborhood and a liver capable of drinking a german man in his prime under the table. And she does it gladly, and quite often, especially when out with an assembly of the other players. A law student rooming with Sam, who relies mostly on student and parent loans to pay for things. As of right now, she's doubtful whether she should continue her law path. Once best friends with Victor (even outside of their DnD group they were known as the notorious Scourge Siblings), they had a falling out facilitated by a one-night stand and Dick and his crappy DMing methods that have her threatening to punch him more than seriously than jokingly.
A few years ago she was diagnosed with Uveitis and had to undergo extensive eye surgery, with a very real threat of actually losing her eyesight. She kept most of these details hidden from the group to spare them the worry (particularly Karl), and developed alcoholism out of a bout of depression. She's cleaned herself up for the most part, though was forced to attend Alcoholic's Anonymous, but by now she's gotten her habit under control. She still has her moments however, and her Uveitis still has a chance of returning and getting worse.
She was one of the most frequent customers of Crabdad's seafood restaurant, due in no small part to the fact that she's had a crush on Karl for who knows how long and has become a bit of a big sister towards Tammy. The only one who has any idea of her feelings however is Eric (whom she has threatened with castration if he were to ever spill the beans), and maybe Tammy. In fact, she's a bit of a big sister for a lot of members in the group, and used to be really good friends with Anna before the latter went to the Peace Corps. She's even taken Raiden under her wing, and has a a handful of minor delinquency infractions on her record. She's taken kickboxing for years and could literally kick your ass.
Victor ???th8tguy/th8tguy
An egotistical veteran at all things that have to do with gaming, he works at a mechanic's shop and will hit on basically every girl he meets (and has had some kind of relationship with most of the girls in their very own tabletop group.) He's very much that kind of player that things, "why bother playing if you're not going to win?" and has gotten away with a lot of stuff due to being one of Dick's best friends. He, Briar, Anna, Kan, Dick and Felicity have been friends for quite a while before the time of the campaign, though nowadays it's mostly Dick,Victor and Felicity hanging out at Briar's girl and helping each other wingman-- and he's quite popular with the ladies (and probably one of the only guys in the group with a reasonable sense of fashion).
He has a father that he used to idolize, but was arrested at some point in the middle of the Ancestor campaign, abandoning his family and leaving his mother to fall into a deep depression. Thus is became up to Victor to take care of her and the family, a responsibility he's surprisingly capable of-- for all his overactive libido (though reports of his actual relations have been greatly exaggerated), he's quite a good big brother figure. He was diagnosed with OCD when he was a kid, and has it under control for the most part. HIs symptoms escalate with stress and anxiety, so after his father was convicted his symptoms got x8 worse, to the point where his present dosage was no longer enough, but he never got a chance to get into the doctor's office to increase his dosage. He doesn't like anybody to really know about it (chicks don't dig guys with severe neurosis), and probably the only ones that know the extent of his issues are Teresa and Ammy.
He's been a regular at the Ethelbert game shop when Amadeus was still in High School, and though he picked on the kid at first, they became surprisingly close as Victor kept hanging around, and now Victor has basically adopted Ammy as a younger brother and protege. He has motorcycle that he takes expert care of, to the point where it still runs as if it were new. He's got a thing for Tammy, though the feelings are unrequited because he's kind of overbearing.
Ed ???horsedickguy
Basically a body-builder with abs of steel, and Nina's older brother. He claims to only be participating because Nina wanted him to, and thinks most of the group's hobbies are childish and nerdy. However, he's a secret geek just like the rest of them, playing his fill of video games and being a particular fan of the "Phoenix Wright" and thoes style kind of games-- which he claims are visual novels. That he reads. Not plays.
He's protective of Nina and notorious in the groups' in-jokes for his heinous protein drinks. Second only to Victor in his accomplishments with the ladies.
Gary ??? n/a
Karl and Tammy's childhood friend, and a complete and total stoner. Though not to the point where he's totally out of it, he is pretty responsible of it-- and surprisingly probably one of the most responsible members of he group. Though he doesn't hang out with Karl as much anymore, they still have a tacit agreement, and Gary'll even let him borrow his car without question if he needs it. He's a big fan of the "Do Whatever You Want" style of gameplay, and Sober!Gamzee mostly happened because Gary and his family went on a trip and Dick took advantage of his absence to NPC his character. He was not happy, and in fact isn't that much of a fan of his old character GHB anymore.
His family's fairly well off, but his father doesn't approve much of his laid back lifestyle. No one has any idea what he's majoring it, all they know is that he actually goes to class.
Eric ???drama_lamprey
The son of a wealthy Korean business family, and Felicity's cousin who's currently getting ad egree in economics but hopes to change to a liberal arts degree. He has a lot of issues with his family and is rather estranged from everyone that isn't Felicity, so he spends most of the time out of the house and loitering around Karl's coffee shop. He got a chemical burn on his hand as a child that scarred horribly, resulting in his inspiration for Dualscar and absolute abhorrence of that one scene from Fight Club. His family has given him a bit of a complex, as where he once was a snooty business heir, his family relations became strained when he decided he wanted to be something different from his family.
He's very into roleplaying and the spirit of the characters, but is one of the few people that can actually separate IC from OOC properly. When his DnD career began, he befriended Dick, Briar, Victor, Anna and Kanaya through Felicity, but eventually branched out to become closer with Karl, Teresa and Sam when he mellowed out and stopped acting like a douche. He's had a rush on Anna practically since they've met, but he's never told her or anybody. Ever.
Felicity ???cuddles_fish/deadfishhitler
The eldest daughter of a wealthy Korean business family, and Eric's older cousin. Like her cousin though, she's not a big fan of economics, and once had dreams of becoming a model and an art student. Her parents agreed to let her pursue this career path when she found an offer, and even leant her some money for it to go to [I FORGOT THE CITY]-- unfortunately, it turned out to be a scam, and she returned home with scars from the flourescent lights, dreadful disapproval from her parents, and turned over a new, bitchy leaf. She used to have a friendly rivalry with Karl, but after both of their lives blew up in their faces, they're much more at each other's throats.
She started dating Sam after the Ancestor campaign, and accusations of being a "gold-digging ho" are mostly because she's worried about her own financial security after her failure-- not wanting to live off her parents' money anymore, and with Sam gearing up to be a nice successful doctor, she's set. Most of the time she's critical of most of the most nerdy parts of the conversation, but despite that there's no denying that she's good at enjoys all the geeky gaming, despite being fairly popular with the boys outside of her group.
Briar Lurzesesquipedipuss/sesquipedalianloquacious
In contrast to the rest of the Kid players, he's closer to Victor and Dick's age, and was friends with Dick and the Stahler family since they were kids, to the point that he's basically Raiden's second, less douchey older brother. A pretentious literature major, who nows works as a bartender at the Troll groups' favorite bar, and owns at least four cats at this point. He's much more sensible than a lot of the other players, and thus usual has to play babysitter or DD.
Despite his older age, he's bonded much closer with the Kid group than the Troll group, acting as a surrogate older brother to all of them, working with Anna to bring Raiden out of his shell, helping Ammy with his problems and teaching Echidna all the liberal arts stuff she doesn't understand. And he much seems to prefer hanging out with them than the older players now, and has promised to mix them their first drinks once all of them have turned 21.
Much better at separating IC and OOC than a lot of the others, and firmly thinks of him, Rose and Roxy as completely separate. He's got some younger siblings of his own that he absolutely adores. Also got really pissed off at Dick when he kept killing off various in-game carnations of his cats. Everyone is sure he has a fetish for tentacle porn, but he continues to deny this fact.
Raiden Stahlersaintclockblock/saintclockblock
A newly high school graduate with no ambition, and Dick's older brother. He's painfully shy with some pretty bad social anxiety, to the point where he's been a shut-in for most of his life, and all of his friends he's met through Dick and his campaigns. His current aspirations are to be a fry cook or something, and he can whip up some wicked nachoes. However, he does have a particular talent for music, but doesn't have the confidence to do anything with it. He's currently unemployed however, and mooching off his parents-- not that they mind too much, as they're almost never home. At all.
He's known Briar and Anna for most of his life, and looks up to Teresa, oddly enough. Other than that, like Ammy, most of the troll players scare him. He has however, recently gotten on better with Karl, strangely enough, though this may just be a mutual estrangement from his brother. He's actually very good at tabletop (possibly even better than Anna), and knows the systems just as well as Dick does, to the point where he could be a pretty competent DM if he only had some confidence.
Amadeus Ethelbertherpderphero/herpderphero
The lone son of the owner of Ethelbert game shop, he's Raiden's age and his mother died when he was younger. Instead of going to college, he's elected to help his father run the game shop (a bit to his father's dismay, though he remains ever proud). He's quite good at running the counter actually, has all of the pop culture knowledge on the latest game news, and has a particular aptitude at math. He also has diabetes, making him particularly resentful when Dick declared Jane to be the heiress of a cake company.
Though he's an only child, he and Echidna have basically adopted each other as siblings, and Echidna often comes to the game shop after her classes to share what she's been learning in her science classes and keep him company behind the counter. Victor has become an older brother to him as well, though when they're together in the game shop it leads to some idiotic ideas like trying to play a card game on the roof. His family's shop provides the upstairs gaming room for the Homestuck campaign.
He's actually very deeply in the closet; though he knows he's gay himself, he hasn't told and refuses to tell anyone-- and feels particularly awkward about the fact that both of John's main love interests in the game are both played by males. Ammy's obsession with hoods is one of the inspiration for the God Tier designs, and he has an avid bunny collection, and is really good at sewing toys and things like that.
Echidna Hackettmetawoof/metawoof
The adopted daughter of a pair of eccentric scientists, half-raised by them and half-raised by her incredibly old-fashioned biological grandparents. She's an incredibly bright child, homeschooled most of her life but already doublemajoring in Aerospace Science and Neuroscience and minoring in Chemistry upon her entry into college. She often shares her love of science with Amadeus after class, and has a lot of study sessions with Sam-- though it comes to her naturally while he actually has to study, making their study habits a bit incompatible. She excells at the mechanics of tabletop, but has a bit of trouble with the creative part-- something she's slowly getting better at with Raiden and Briar's help.
The only girl of the kids' campaign, she's actually much more rough and tumble than Ammy, Rai, OR Briar, excitedly climbing trees and sneaking into peoples' windows. Though she's a bit of a social klutz, she's also the one that interacts with the troll players the most, oddly enough. She dreams of being an astronaut, but unfortunately is a bit piddly in stature and has asthma, so instead she hopes to be a scientist like her parents or to work at NASA.
She has a pet Husky named Tesla and shamelessly metagames against Dick. Her and Raiden are oddly enough, the ones that play the most video games together, though she gets frustrated since Raiden always wants to explore the sandbox areas while she wants to hurry and get to the story.
The Game Master of both the Troll Group and the Kid Group, and Raiden's older brother. Friends with Briar and Anna since childhood, and basically three musketeers with Victor and Felicity, and guilty of giving their antaognistic characters preferential treatment. Though he's pretty creative and good at DMing, he's also taken a nosedive as a complete and utter jerk at some point.
Like Gary, no one actually knows what he's studying, and rumors/bad jokes abound about Dick's sexuality because of the way he gives Amadeus and Karl shit all the time (although he's begun picking on Raiden a bit as well, though that could just be the typical sibling rivalry thing.) The basement of their house provides the location where they played the Hivebent campaign, though since the merging of the two campaigns, they've all relocated to the Ethelbert Game shop. Very much guilty of taking things too far. His DMPC is Doc Scratch, though recently transformed into Lord English.

A few years ago she was diagnosed with Uveitis and had to undergo extensive eye surgery, with a very real threat of actually losing her eyesight. She kept most of these details hidden from the group to spare them the worry (particularly Karl), and developed alcoholism out of a bout of depression. She's cleaned herself up for the most part, though was forced to attend Alcoholic's Anonymous, but by now she's gotten her habit under control. She still has her moments however, and her Uveitis still has a chance of returning and getting worse.
She was one of the most frequent customers of Crabdad's seafood restaurant, due in no small part to the fact that she's had a crush on Karl for who knows how long and has become a bit of a big sister towards Tammy. The only one who has any idea of her feelings however is Eric (whom she has threatened with castration if he were to ever spill the beans), and maybe Tammy. In fact, she's a bit of a big sister for a lot of members in the group, and used to be really good friends with Anna before the latter went to the Peace Corps. She's even taken Raiden under her wing, and has a a handful of minor delinquency infractions on her record. She's taken kickboxing for years and could literally kick your ass.
Victor ???
th8tguy/th8tguyAn egotistical veteran at all things that have to do with gaming, he works at a mechanic's shop and will hit on basically every girl he meets (and has had some kind of relationship with most of the girls in their very own tabletop group.) He's very much that kind of player that things, "why bother playing if you're not going to win?" and has gotten away with a lot of stuff due to being one of Dick's best friends. He, Briar, Anna, Kan, Dick and Felicity have been friends for quite a while before the time of the campaign, though nowadays it's mostly Dick,Victor and Felicity hanging out at Briar's girl and helping each other wingman-- and he's quite popular with the ladies (and probably one of the only guys in the group with a reasonable sense of fashion).
He has a father that he used to idolize, but was arrested at some point in the middle of the Ancestor campaign, abandoning his family and leaving his mother to fall into a deep depression. Thus is became up to Victor to take care of her and the family, a responsibility he's surprisingly capable of-- for all his overactive libido (though reports of his actual relations have been greatly exaggerated), he's quite a good big brother figure. He was diagnosed with OCD when he was a kid, and has it under control for the most part. HIs symptoms escalate with stress and anxiety, so after his father was convicted his symptoms got x8 worse, to the point where his present dosage was no longer enough, but he never got a chance to get into the doctor's office to increase his dosage. He doesn't like anybody to really know about it (chicks don't dig guys with severe neurosis), and probably the only ones that know the extent of his issues are Teresa and Ammy.
He's been a regular at the Ethelbert game shop when Amadeus was still in High School, and though he picked on the kid at first, they became surprisingly close as Victor kept hanging around, and now Victor has basically adopted Ammy as a younger brother and protege. He has motorcycle that he takes expert care of, to the point where it still runs as if it were new. He's got a thing for Tammy, though the feelings are unrequited because he's kind of overbearing.
Ed ???
horsedickguyBasically a body-builder with abs of steel, and Nina's older brother. He claims to only be participating because Nina wanted him to, and thinks most of the group's hobbies are childish and nerdy. However, he's a secret geek just like the rest of them, playing his fill of video games and being a particular fan of the "Phoenix Wright" and thoes style kind of games-- which he claims are visual novels. That he reads. Not plays.
He's protective of Nina and notorious in the groups' in-jokes for his heinous protein drinks. Second only to Victor in his accomplishments with the ladies.
Gary ??? n/a
Karl and Tammy's childhood friend, and a complete and total stoner. Though not to the point where he's totally out of it, he is pretty responsible of it-- and surprisingly probably one of the most responsible members of he group. Though he doesn't hang out with Karl as much anymore, they still have a tacit agreement, and Gary'll even let him borrow his car without question if he needs it. He's a big fan of the "Do Whatever You Want" style of gameplay, and Sober!Gamzee mostly happened because Gary and his family went on a trip and Dick took advantage of his absence to NPC his character. He was not happy, and in fact isn't that much of a fan of his old character GHB anymore.
His family's fairly well off, but his father doesn't approve much of his laid back lifestyle. No one has any idea what he's majoring it, all they know is that he actually goes to class.
Eric ???
drama_lampreyThe son of a wealthy Korean business family, and Felicity's cousin who's currently getting ad egree in economics but hopes to change to a liberal arts degree. He has a lot of issues with his family and is rather estranged from everyone that isn't Felicity, so he spends most of the time out of the house and loitering around Karl's coffee shop. He got a chemical burn on his hand as a child that scarred horribly, resulting in his inspiration for Dualscar and absolute abhorrence of that one scene from Fight Club. His family has given him a bit of a complex, as where he once was a snooty business heir, his family relations became strained when he decided he wanted to be something different from his family.
He's very into roleplaying and the spirit of the characters, but is one of the few people that can actually separate IC from OOC properly. When his DnD career began, he befriended Dick, Briar, Victor, Anna and Kanaya through Felicity, but eventually branched out to become closer with Karl, Teresa and Sam when he mellowed out and stopped acting like a douche. He's had a rush on Anna practically since they've met, but he's never told her or anybody. Ever.
Felicity ???

Like her cousin though, she's not a big fan of economics, and once had dreams of becoming a model and an art student. Her parents agreed to let her pursue this career path when she found an offer, and even leant her some money for it to go to [I FORGOT THE CITY]-- unfortunately, it turned out to be a scam, and she returned home with scars from the flourescent lights, dreadful disapproval from her parents, and turned over a new, bitchy leaf. She used to have a friendly rivalry with Karl, but after both of their lives blew up in their faces, they're much more at each other's throats.
She started dating Sam after the Ancestor campaign, and accusations of being a "gold-digging ho" are mostly because she's worried about her own financial security after her failure-- not wanting to live off her parents' money anymore, and with Sam gearing up to be a nice successful doctor, she's set. She does genuinely care about Eric (even if he's wwhiney as all hell), and became best friends with Victor over time-- and may even have a thing for him, though she's worried since she's basically the only girl in the group he hasn't hit on.
Most of the time she's critical of most of the most nerdy parts of the conversation, but despite that there's no denying that she's good at enjoys all the geeky gaming, despite being fairly popular with the boys outside of her group.
Briar Lurze
sesquipedipuss/sesquipedalianloquaciousIn contrast to the rest of the Kid players, he's closer to Victor and Dick's age, and was friends with Dick and the Stahler family since they were kids, to the point that he's basically Raiden's second, less douchey older brother. A pretentious literature major, who nows works as a bartender at the Troll groups' favorite bar, and owns at least four cats at this point. He's much more sensible than a lot of the other players, and thus usual has to play babysitter or DD.
Despite his older age, he's bonded much closer with the Kid group than the Troll group, acting as a surrogate older brother to all of them, working with Anna to bring Raiden out of his shell, helping Ammy with his problems and teaching Echidna all the liberal arts stuff she doesn't understand. And he much seems to prefer hanging out with them than the older players now, and has promised to mix them their first drinks once all of them have turned 21.
Much better at separating IC and OOC than a lot of the others, and firmly thinks of him, Rose and Roxy as completely separate. He's got some younger siblings of his own that he absolutely adores. Also got really pissed off at Dick when he kept killing off various in-game carnations of his cats. Everyone is sure he has a fetish for tentacle porn, but he continues to deny this fact.
Raiden Stahler
saintclockblock/saintclockblockA newly high school graduate with no ambition, and Dick's older brother. He's painfully shy with some pretty bad social anxiety, to the point where he's been a shut-in for most of his life, and all of his friends he's met through Dick and his campaigns. His current aspirations are to be a fry cook or something, and he can whip up some wicked nachoes. However, he does have a particular talent for music, but doesn't have the confidence to do anything with it. He's currently unemployed however, and mooching off his parents-- not that they mind too much, as they're almost never home. At all.
He's known Briar and Anna for most of his life, and looks up to Teresa, oddly enough. Other than that, like Ammy, most of the troll players scare him. He has however, recently gotten on better with Karl, strangely enough, though this may just be a mutual estrangement from his brother. He's actually very good at tabletop (possibly even better than Anna), and knows the systems just as well as Dick does, to the point where he could be a pretty competent DM if he only had some confidence.
Amadeus Ethelbert
herpderphero/herpderpheroThe lone son of the owner of Ethelbert game shop, he's Raiden's age and his mother died when he was younger. Instead of going to college, he's elected to help his father run the game shop (a bit to his father's dismay, though he remains ever proud). He's quite good at running the counter actually, has all of the pop culture knowledge on the latest game news, and has a particular aptitude at math. He also has diabetes, making him particularly resentful when Dick declared Jane to be the heiress of a cake company.
Though he's an only child, he and Echidna have basically adopted each other as siblings, and Echidna often comes to the game shop after her classes to share what she's been learning in her science classes and keep him company behind the counter. Victor has become an older brother to him as well, though when they're together in the game shop it leads to some idiotic ideas like trying to play a card game on the roof. His family's shop provides the upstairs gaming room for the Homestuck campaign.
He's actually very deeply in the closet; though he knows he's gay himself, he hasn't told and refuses to tell anyone-- and feels particularly awkward about the fact that both of John's main love interests in the game are both played by males. Ammy's obsession with hoods is one of the inspiration for the God Tier designs, and he has an avid bunny collection, and is really good at sewing toys and things like that.
Echidna Hackett
metawoof/metawoofThe adopted daughter of a pair of eccentric scientists, half-raised by them and half-raised by her incredibly old-fashioned biological grandparents. She's an incredibly bright child, homeschooled most of her life but already doublemajoring in Aerospace Science and Neuroscience and minoring in Chemistry upon her entry into college. She often shares her love of science with Amadeus after class, and has a lot of study sessions with Sam-- though it comes to her naturally while he actually has to study, making their study habits a bit incompatible. She excells at the mechanics of tabletop, but has a bit of trouble with the creative part-- something she's slowly getting better at with Raiden and Briar's help.
The only girl of the kids' campaign, she's actually much more rough and tumble than Ammy, Rai, OR Briar, excitedly climbing trees and sneaking into peoples' windows. Though she's a bit of a social klutz, she's also the one that interacts with the troll players the most, oddly enough. She dreams of being an astronaut, but unfortunately is a bit piddly in stature and has asthma, so instead she hopes to be a scientist like her parents or to work at NASA.
She has a pet Husky named Tesla and shamelessly metagames against Dick. Her and Raiden are oddly enough, the ones that play the most video games together, though she gets frustrated since Raiden always wants to explore the sandbox areas while she wants to hurry and get to the story.

Like Gary, no one actually knows what he's studying, and rumors/bad jokes abound about Dick's sexuality because of the way he gives Amadeus and Karl shit all the time (although he's begun picking on Raiden a bit as well, though that could just be the typical sibling rivalry thing.) The basement of their house provides the location where they played the Hivebent campaign, though since the merging of the two campaigns, they've all relocated to the Ethelbert Game shop. Very much guilty of taking things too far. His DMPC is Doc Scratch, though recently transformed into Lord English.
